I found this kiosk project a really fun and simple activity to create for students. I enjoyed learning the ways to basically create a power point presentation and then change some things around to make it more automatic and interactive for the students. I would definitely use a kiosk activity in my future classroom. I like how the students can follow through an activity such as as kiosk on their own and with their own pace in mind. Students could also work in groups together on the kiosk as well. Not only that, but the whole class could go over the kiosk together as a class in a similar manner as you would do with just a simple power point presentation.
A kiosk activity would work the best for students who learn in a more interactive and visual manner. Those who are more hands on learners and who learn the best when they can really see in front of them how something works would benefit from this kiosk activity the most. For example, my kiosk project was about geology including earthquakes and mountain formations. So, in the kiosk, there are many pictures that really show how the plates move in the earth. It not only shows how individual plates move, but there are interactive photos that show how those individual plates move in correspondence to the entire earth. It really gives the opportunity for the students to see how things work in the bigger picture of life. Existentialist learners comprehend knowledge the best when they can view and place new information into the bigger picture. So, for this reason, I believe that those existentialist learners may benefit greatly from an interactive kiosk such as the one I created.
